Dude, this makes as much sense as the time UofT students walked out of class to protest fees. You will not bring the machine to its knees by not participating if it already has your money.

It will affect their compilation of daily stats and thus send a message to the company, which may sit up and take notice. Most of those who are participating in the strike have also vowed not to renew their paid accounts when they expire.
